Patrice Milewski
Biography
Completed doctoral studies in the Department of Sociology and Equity Studies at OISE/University of Toronto in 2003. Prior to being appointed to Laurentian, he taught elementary school in Toronto and was actively involved in curriculum projects in both history and science. Current research interests are focused on applying Foucauldian methods of historical inquiry to the domains of schooling and pedagogy.

Research
Current research is focused on new ways of conceptualizing and presenting the educational past through applying Foucauldian methods of historical inquiry to the domains of schooling and pedagogy.
