Established in 2003, the Laurentian Karate Club Bursary is designed to encourage the study of traditional karatedo at Laurentian University.
The Bursary was established through a donation to Laurentian University from Karate Club members and friends in the hopes that more students will discover the many values of traditional karatedo.
Value: $250.00
The Laurentian Karate Club Bursary will be presented to a qualified student consistent with the following guidelines:
- applicants must be enrolled or accepted full-time in any Laurentian University program
- applicants must be a resident of Ontario
- applicants must demonstrate financial need
- applicants must write an essay on the following topic: "What does karate mean to you?"
