The Department offers a Specialized (four year) undergraduate degree in Physics program and a General (three-year) B.Sc. in Physics program. Upon graduation from the 4-year program the designation "honours" is given if the overall average is over 70%..
New 4 Year Biomedical Physics Program
The Department of Physics is pleased to announce the 4 Year Biomedical Physics Program which integrates the study of human biology with the aspects of physics that apply to health sciences and technology. It has an interdisciplinary flavour and provides a solid preparation for students wishing to pursue a profession in the healthcare field (e.g. medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, nuclear safety, radiation sciences) or graduate studies in Medical Physics. Students can customize the program to their specific needs via the 45 credits of electives.
Please note that the Department continues to offer a 3-year General Degree in Biomedical Physics program..
The Department also offers a fully accredited 4-year honours BSc/Diploma program in Radiation Therapy in collaboration with The Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences (please follow the undergraduate programs link at the right).
