What is eBusiness

eBusiness (electronic business) is the use of technology to improve

business practices both internally and externally by streamlining

operating processes such as: enterprise management,

telecommunications and electronic commerce.

It can be defined as any business process that relies on an automated

information system. This is mostly done with Web-based technologies.

The term “e-business” was coined by Lou Gerstner, CEO of IBM.
